Franck Lopico 24th in New Zealand

A fine performance from our triathlete Franck Lopico, who took part this weekend in the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Taupo, New Zealand, finishing in an excellent 24th place in his category (out of 362) with these splits: 28:08 / 2:27:06 / 1:35:45.

Franck was satisfied: ‘Yes, satisfied, especially as the course wasn’t easy and it was very hot… a very complicated run’.

Before the race, Franck was able to take in some of New Zealand’s beautiful scenery.
