Assemblée Générale CAD 2025

The 2025 general assembly of the CA Dudelange was held on Sunday, 8 March 2026, at the Dudelange multipurpose hall, attended by approximately 85 members, athletes, friends and guests.

The following honorary guests were present: Loris Spina as Lay Assessor for Sport, Marc Meyer, Michèle Kayser-Wengler, Semiray Ahmedova and Yves Steffen from the municipal council, Zeynaba Weber from the municipal council of Zoufftgen, Walter Berettini for the tourist office, Fabio Secci for the FLA and Anouck Ewerling for the CAB.

President Josée Lorsché welcomed the guests and opened the meeting. The president expressed her sincere thanks to all the committee members, coaches, athletes and volunteers for their excellent work over the past season. More critical words were uttered about the indoor hall construction project. Various activity and financial reports were presented by Marie-France Saeul, Claude Schaeffer, Tom Michels and Olivier Boussong. The new statutes were adopted in their version from 18 January, with no opposition from the members present.

Many athletes were honoured during a lively ceremony for their good performances or participation. Special prizes were awarded to Liz Weiler and Noemie Pleimling for their silver medals in San Marino, and Liz was also named Member of the Year.

The General Assembly ended with the traditional and famous spaghetti ‘from Gaby and her team’, this time even with an (excellent) veggie sauce.
