Championships and International Selections

At the end of May, two of our athletes represented the national team at the European Challenger Championships in Monaco.
Noémie finished 4th in the javelin with a throw of 50.17 m, while Fanny placed 6th in the 1500 m with a time of 4:32.46.

One week later came the first important event for the team standings in Luxembourg: the Senior Interclub Championships.
The CAD performed very well in Ettelbruck, securing 2nd place in the women’s competition and 3rd place in the men’s competition. In the overall standings, this resulted in 2nd place behind CSL.

This weekend, our youth athletes were mainly competing at the Combined Events Championships. Worth highlighting is that we swept all the men’s titles: Mex won the Cadets category, Dylan the Juniors category, and Jon the Espoirs (U23) category — all with new personal bests (PBs). Laura also reached the podium in the Cadettes category, finishing in 2nd place.
