About the club
Besides organizing numerous track and field meetings, the CAD is also the organizer of the traditional Tour de Dudelange and the Haard Trail. Venues of the club are the John F. Kennedy stadium in Dudelange, and the throwing field in Zoufftgen, France.
Today we have 300 active athletes and about 500 members. The club also has a small triathlon section.
This weekend kicked off the indoor season for our CAD athletes in the Coque. Several new best performances were already set at the Regio Meeting 1. You can find all the results here.
A fine performance from our triathlete Franck Lopico, who took part this weekend in the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Taupo, New Zealand, finishing in an excellent 24th place in his category (out of 362) with these splits: 28:08 / 2:27:06 / 1:35:45. The first championships of the season took place at the end of November. Severaln runners from Dudelange took part in the national cross-country championships in Diekirch. This October, our runners alternated between marathons and cross-country races. Denis and Laura went abroad to prove themselves over the 42 km. Denis ran a great time of 3h17 in Amsterdam.
