About the club
Besides organizing numerous track and field meetings, the CAD is also the organizer of the traditional Tour de Dudelange and the Haard Trail. Venues of the club are the John F. Kennedy stadium in Dudelange, and the throwing field in Zoufftgen, France.
Today we have 300 active athletes and about 500 members. The club also has a small triathlon section.
During the 3rd cross in Luxembourg-Bambusch, top positions by these CAD athletes: Lys Stoffel (1st Espoir), Chloé Schmit (3rd Junior), Mex Krecké (6th Débutant), Liz Weiler (7th Senior), Joy Havé (9th Scolaire), Lena Schweitzer (12th Scolaire) and Dayna Thill Goerend (13th Débutante).
Good results from CAD athletes during the CAB cross country: Lys Stoffel (1st Espoir), Chloé Schmit (2nd Junior), Paulo Ramos (5th Senior), Liz Weiler (6th Senior), Dylan Meyers (13th Scolaire), Bastien Klein Schlentz (13th Débutant), Lena Schweitzer (15th Scolaire) and Gabriel de Menezes Carvalho (15th Débutant).
At today’s CAD Kids cup, the CAD 1 team finished 1st, the Celtic 1 team finished 2nd, and the Fola 2 team finished 3rd. With 130 small athletes and 17 teams, the event was again a nice success!
The first cross of the season has taken place in Rodange in almost winterly conditions! Good performances from Lys Stoffel (1st Espoir), Chloé Schmit (4th Junior), Paulo Ramos (4th Senior), Liz Weiler (3rd Senior), Mex Krecké (7th Débutant), Joy Have (10th Scolaire) and Lena Schweitzer (11th Scolaire).
Excellent news from Dubai! Our athlete Tom Habscheid has got the silver medal at the World Para-Athletics Championships by realizing 15.10m in the 3rd attempt in the Shot Put, and by doing this, he set a new World record in the F63 category! Congratulations!
Brilliant Marathon from our athlete Ben Sathre, who won the National Marathon Championships in Francfort by finishing at the excellent 15th rank in 2:16:02! Congratulations, Ben!
