About the club
Besides organizing numerous track and field meetings, the CAD is also the organizer of the traditional Tour de Dudelange and the Haard Trail. Venues of the club are the John F. Kennedy stadium in Dudelange, and the throwing field in Zoufftgen, France.
Today we have 300 active athletes and about 500 members. The club also has a small triathlon section.
Three of our athletes made podium places during the Games of the Small States of Europe in Montenegro: Noémie Pleimling (1st javelin throw – 51.25m), Lara Marx (2nd 100m hurdles – 14″62, 2nd in the 4x100m relay – 47″51 and 2nd in the 4x400m relay – 3:51″34) and Lara Buekens (3rd pole vault – 3.60m). Good results from our athletes at the rainy Challenge Tageblatt 2: Alessia Sguazzin 4th 75m Scolaires 13, Luca Costantini 1st high jump Scolaires 13, Eve Lambert 1st ball throw and 8th 1000m Débutantes 11, Carla Bellucci 4th javelin throw Scolaires 13 and Pol Stoffel 2nd 2000m Scolaires 13.
Definitely a tremedous season start of Noémie Pleimling who further improved her National Record in javelin throw during the 1st round of the French Interclub Championships by realizing 53.29m!
Congratulations to Liz Weiler, who this morning took the National Champion title on the 10000m race on the track!

Excellent news from our athlete Noémie Pleimling! On Saturday during the Challenge André Joannes in Dampicourt, Belgium, she realized a new National Record in javelin throw, by improving her record from February by an incredible 1.44m! The new mark is now set to 52.89m!
