About the club
Besides organizing numerous track and field meetings, the CAD is also the organizer of the traditional Tour de Dudelange and the Haard Trail. Venues of the club are the John F. Kennedy stadium in Dudelange, and the throwing field in Zoufftgen, France.
Today we have 300 active athletes and about 500 members. The club also has a small triathlon section.
Wow! For the first time in its 86 years of existence, the CAD now has a World Record Holder among its athletes! Again new National Record by Noémie Pleimling! During a meeting in Offenburg, Germany, she improves her own old National Record in the javelin throw from 50.74 to 51.45m! Great!
At the Eurocross in Diekirch, Pol Stoffel finishes 4th Scolaire, Chloé Schmit wins the Juniors race and Noah Fries finishes 3rd Espoir.
Congratulations to our athlete Tom Habscheid who throws a new National Record LPC in the F-63 shot put contest at the 17th CMCM Indoor Meeting: 14.77m! Lara Marx finishes 3rd in the 60m hurdles and 3rd in the triple jump.
