An eventful March with many good results and two races in Dudelange

At the beginning of March, the indoor season also came to an end for our little ones with the last Tageblatt meeting in the Coque. Our Debutants and Scolaires took an excellent second place overall behind the CSL and ahead of the CELTIC. This promises a lot for the years to come.

On 13 March, the CAD organised the last cross of the season, which was also the national championship. The first good placing of the day came from Liah Melanda who ran her 1.337km race in the Debutants category in 5:35 minutes to finish in a good 4th place. After a break due to injury, Liz Weiler also finished 4th in her first and only cross of the season over 5.834km in 24 :23 minutes. The highlight from the perspective of Dudelange was the second place and thus the runner-up title in the Cadets category over 4.557km by Pol Stoffel in 15:57 minutes.

This Sunday, the Tour de Dudelange was the start of the road races, with the National Championships as the first event. The CAD participated in both the women’s and men’s races with 5 runners each.

At this point we would also like to thank all our volunteers, without whom the smooth running of the races would not have been possible.
