Championships: medals, podiums, championship titles and records

Our athletes were represented at national championships on two consecutive weekends and had nothing to hide.

Starting with the national championships on 28-30 June. Liz Weiler won the first title for the CAD in the 3000m steeplechase on Friday evening and it was not to be the last. Our athletes had a particularly good day on Saturday and almost all of them were able to shine with a best performance, which was often rewarded with medals: Fanny over 800m (=new club record) and 1500m, Mex in the triple jump ( =new club record) and over 200m, Jon in the high jump, Luca over 100m and 200m, Nadine in the discus throw, Hannah over 100m.

The following weekend, 5 of our athletes – Michael, Dylan, Mex, Jon and Mia – took part in the all-around championships and all finished on the podium. We would like to emphasise the exciting duel between Michael and Jon, which Jon won in the end, and Mex, who once again broke two club records.
