Eventful running and throwing weekend

Both our runners and our throwers had two competitions this weekend.
Nadine Kremer and Gilles Lorang were in action on Saturday in Cessange and on Sunday in Zoufftgen.
Nadine increased her SB in the hammer throw to 47m85 and also came close to her national record in the weight throw, which she set in March, with 15m27.
Gilles threw 44m98 in the hammer throw and a precision landing of 12m in the weight throw.

At the same time, our runners took part in the national long-distance championships (Saturday) and the DKV Urban Trail (Sunday).
Laura Grober crossed the finish line after 10km in 41:32.62 minutes, securing 3rd place in the women’s category. Kelvin Bertold was the fastest junior over 3km with a time of 9:08.72 minutes and thus became national champion.

On Sunday, some of our runners took part in the DKV Urban Trail in Luxembourg City over various distances. You can find their results here.

This weekend Yannick Frantz recovered after starting at the Semi Marathon in Berlin during the Easter holidays. He finished in 1:33:35.
