General assembly CAD 2020

The 2020 general assembly of the Cercle Athlétique Dudelange took place on Sunday October 3rd 2021 at the Dudelange labor union conference room, in front of some 30 members, athletes, friends and guests. Due to the current sanitary restrictions, the assembly took place later than usual, and using the CovidCheck mode.

CAD president Josée Lorsché welcomed the attendees, and made the introduction to the general assembly. Different activity reports and financial reports were exposed by Marie-France Saeul, Jean Lorang and Olivier Boussong. CAD Vice-President Fabio Secci also represented the Federation, and exposed the good collaboration between the club and the FLA.

Sports lay assessor Loris Spina then explained the current, complicated, situation around the new indoor hall integrating into the existing Kennedy stadium. Following the speech, some interesting questions were discussed.

The composition of the committee changed. Jean-Claude Wallenborn gets appointed Technical Director, and Claude Schaeffer and Simone Legil take over the secretary job from Jean Lorang.

Two athletes who were present received special merits: Tom Habscheid, who announced his retirement recently, and Noémie Pleimling.
