Matchs International Jeunes x2

Two weekends in a row the Match International Jeunes took place in the Coque.
The youth U14 and U16 had the edge last week. Thanks to a third place in the U14 and a first place in the U16, Luxembourg was able to beat the 9 other teams and win the overall ranking. The CAD was represented by the following athletes:
Liah Melanda, 60 mH (11.86 sec)
Laura Zeimet, shot put (6m44)
Lena Koch, shot put (9m31)
Eve Lambert, high jump (1m50)
Fränz Müller, shot put (11m39)
With this performance, Fränz was the excellent second among the international competitors.
Ultimately, our Liah and our Laura ran in the 4x200m relay (2:02.08 minutes).

For our U18 and U20 athletes, this weekend’s international event was against a French team. The CAD was also represented here and helped them achieve a 1st and a 3rd place:
Mia Bourscheid, High Jump (1m64)
Lena Do Carmo, high jump (1m55)
Jon Bourscheid, shot put (8m72)
Luca Costantini, 60m (7.74 sec.) and high jump (1m68)
Luca also ran in the 4x200m relay, which was unfortunately disqualified.
