National and International Championships

Last weekend, it was time for the youth to prove themselves at their Interclub competition. Many of our young athletes had to step out of their comfort zones and competed in disciplines they don’t usually train for.

Our boys came in second, while the girls narrowly missed the podium despite strong performances, finishing in 4th place.
Here are the rankings:
Boys: CSL, CAD, CELTIC
Girls: LIAL, CELTIC, CSL, CAD

On the same weekend, our throwers Noémie, Isabeau, and Nadine were in action at the French Interclubs. The Pleimling sisters competed in Rouen, while Nadine earned points for her club in Remiremont.

The week before, Nadine also competed at the District Championships in Piesbach, where she became vice champion of Saarlouis in the discus with a throw of 37.27m.

Last but not least, congratulations to Liz (3000m steeplechase) and Noémie (javelin) on their selection for the Games of the Small States of Europe in Andorra, taking place from May 26–31.
