National record in Cessange and club record in Lille

Throwing meeting in Cessange. Season opener. Good throw in the hammer. National record in the weight. This is how Nadine Kremer started the 2024 outdoor season. Last weekend she repeated this 1 to 1. With 48m94 in the hammer she can be pleased, with a new best of 16m15 in the weight even more. In doing so, she also increased her own national record from the previous year by 47 cm.

At the same competition, Gilles Lorang threw 43m79 in the hammer and 12m13 in the weight. To round off the throwing day, he also competed in the discus (29m08) and the shot put (9m16). The only event missing to complete the throwing pentathlon was the javelin. 😉

Pol Muller completed the throwing trio with his start in the discus throw (33m52) and the shot put (10m68).

Here are their results.

On Sunday, Poli Stoffel then took part in the road race in Lille. He crossed the finish line after 10 kilometres in 31:58 minutes – a new junior club record.

It looks like a promising season for everyone in both throwing and running!
