About the club
Besides organizing numerous track and field meetings, the CAD is also the organizer of the traditional Tour de Dudelange and the Haard Trail. Venues of the club are the John F. Kennedy stadium in Dudelange, and the throwing field in Zoufftgen, France.
Today we have 300 active athletes and about 500 members. The club also has a small triathlon section.
At the Regio 2 meeting, CAD athletes dominate the shot put contests: Olivier Caron wins with 14.45, and Tom Habscheid finishes 3rd with 13.12m. Nadine Kremer wins the lady’s contest with 11.29, ahead of Jennifer Chaussy (10.28). Florestan Pireaux wins the Juniors shot put with 13.08.
The prize ceremony for the 2019 ASPORT | Trail Challenge has taken place in the ASPORT shop in the City Concorde this Friday.
Good result from Mia Bourscheid during the Regio 1 Indoor Meeting, where she jumped 1.58 in the Minimes high jump. The CAD wishes all his members, athletes, coaches, sponsors, supporters and other friends of the athletics world all the Best for the New Year 2020!
At the first indoor meeting of the season (Indoor Laf Meeting), Olivier Boussong finished the 300m in 36″80, and Matteo Bellucci crossed the finish line after 39″75. On the 1000m Scolaires race, Noah de Backer-Muller finished in 3:39″79.
The 4th cross took place in the beautiful Ellergronn in Esch. Good results from these CAD athletes: Lys Stoffel (1st Espoir), Chloé Schmit (3rd Junior), Mex Krecké (5th Débutant), Nino Nonnweiler (10th Débutant), Lena Schweitzer (14th Scolaire) and Noah De Backer-Muller (14th Scolaire).
During the 3rd cross in Luxembourg-Bambusch, top positions by these CAD athletes: Lys Stoffel (1st Espoir), Chloé Schmit (3rd Junior), Mex Krecké (6th Débutant), Liz Weiler (7th Senior), Joy Havé (9th Scolaire), Lena Schweitzer (12th Scolaire) and Dayna Thill Goerend (13th Débutante).
